Person Centred Counselling

Person Centred Counselling encourages and supports you believing that each individual has the ability and potential for change and personal growth. It helps you to learn to trust yourself and realise your potential by helping you to make sense of what has happened, what is happening and gain perspective and self-acceptance to move forward. It can help people of all ages with a range of personal issues.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a structured form of therapy that is based on the idea that the way an individual thinks affects the way they feel and behave. CBT helps you to recognize the thoughts you have and how they relate to how you feel and what you do. Together we then come up with strategies to help you think more realistically so you can change your responses to difficult situations and as a result feel better about yourself. This type of counselling can be very effective for those who wish to focus on a specific issue.

Psychodynamic Counselling

Psychodynamic Counselling looks at what is going on in your life now, what has happened to you in the past and how your past experiences can affect how you think, feel and behave in the present.   Many people can benefit from this approach, but it is best suited to those who are interested in exploring themselves and their past and who want to gain self-knowledge as well as symptom relief.

Transactional Analysis (TA)

TA looks at your relationships and social interactions allowing you the opportunity to gain insight into how you relate to yourself and others.
